Kiwanis February 18 Meeting Program: Jim Lonergan, Chatham Councilman spoke about strategic planning.
Jim Lonergan, Chatham Borough Councilman gave an overview of the new Chatham Borough 10-year Strategic Financial Plan. He covered the goals, costs and schedule for significant infrastructure and other municipal improvements for the near future and how to plan for things like this. Jim braved the snowy weather and slippery roads to give his interesting talk to the band of hardy Kiwanians who gathered together at Charlie Brown’s. His talk was loudly applauded by all who attended.

On February 11, Kiwanis held their annual Valentine Luncheon at Charlie Brown’s in Chatham Township.

Kiwanis luncheon at Charlie Brown’s in Chatham Township NJ. He was welcomed by
John Eyre (right in photo), President of the club. Dick covered the history of
issues related to the Passaic River, including pollution and flooding, and the
progress being made to correct problems in parts of the watershed. The members
of the audience were treated to an interesting and fascinating PowerPoint
